  Here's a song I wrote right after RICEfever actually, because I was thinking about The Torn Identity, and had some questions that people might ask. Not sure that I'll be able to record it, so just thought I'd put up the lyrics.

  How awesome was RICEfever last Saturday?! There are just so many things to be thanking God for! Awesome talks from Nathan Sandon and Steve Chong, so many people challenged with God's truth, brilliant weather, wonderful Youth leaders who made it all happen. Praise God!

   

  What now?!

  1.Keep inviting your friends to RICErally!! It's still not too late to get them in!
  

   

  2. Keep putting in your thoughts on the "I am NOT..." shout box. We want to hear you!

• The Night Before RICEfever!

  YOUTH OF SYDNEY!!! GO TO SLEEP!!! I know you're online - all the youth leaders can see you!

   

  Can't wait for 2morrow to hit! Only a few hours to go.... I can slip a few things that you might see tomorrow - but I won't spoil everything.

  I hear that there is possibly a RICE CUP you can win for your youth group (if you win in the games)....

  The ride that we're getting in is MASSIVE!

  Steve Chong is gonna get DUNKED 2morrow!

  There is a stage dedicated to GAMES and ONLY GAMES!!

  And Nathan Sandon & Steve Chong are both PUMPED!! I was in contact with them in the past 24hrs - and they are FIRED UP to preach JESUS!!

  Can't wait for you guys to come and see it in ACTION! It looks amazing at the moment - as the team came to setup the place on Friday. Only a couple of hours to go till you see it all happen at Sydney Showground!

  SO YOUTH & YOUTH LEADERS, GO TO SLEEP - COZ WHEN YOU WAKE UP.... IT IS RICEFEVER TIME - YOU ARE NOT WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE!!!

  Director's Update

• RICEfever - 3 days of prayer countdown

  Day 1 - Wednesday 12/08/2009

  Pray that thousands who do not know Jesus will come to RICEfever and hear the truth about Jesus.

  Pray that God will open the hearts, ears, minds and souls of the youth of Sydney, convicting them of their sin, their need for God's forgiveness and their repentance, and their need to have Jesus as their Lord and King.

   

  Day 2 - Thursday 13/08/2009

  Pray for the RICE leaders and their personal relationships with God. Pray that they will not rely on themselves but trust their loving father in heaven.

  Pray for unity within the team as they share the good news about Jesus.

   

  Day 3 - Friday 14/08/2009

  Pray for the speakers at RICEfever and RICE Rally.

  Pray that Nathan Sandon, Steve Chong and Matt Chandler will speak the truth of the Bible clearly.

  Pray that the Spirit will be sharp and work in the hearts of youth of Sydney.
